F____'s Fudge

4½ cups sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
¼ lb. margarine
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
18 oz. (1½ pkg.) chocolate chips
1 pt. (2 cups) marshmallow cream
1½ cups chopped nuts (optional)

Mix sugar, cocoa, margarine, and milk together and bring to a boil. Boil 6 minutes; stir constantly. Take off heat and add chocolate chips. Beat till melted. Add marshmallow cream and nuts. Mix well. When it starts to get thick put in greased pan. (Fern uses two 8 or 9 inch square pans.) Shake the pan to get the fudge smooth; do not use a spoon or knife. Let cool until firm.
Makes 4 or 5 lbs. of fudge.
