2 cups sugar
¾ cup white corn syrup
½ cup butter
1 pt. (2 cups) sour cream
vanilla
Put sugar, syrup, butter and half of cream over fire and let boil thoroughly. Then gradually add other cup of cream. Let boil thoroughly stirring every 3-4 minutes until sample dropped in cold water makes “chewy ball.” Flavor as desired with chocolate, maple or otherwise, turn into buttered pan and cut in squares. Nuts may be added.
