Delectable Chocolate Brownies (Cocoa Brownies)

¾ cup butter or regular margarine
1½ cups sugar
2 eggs
½ tsp. vanilla
¾ cup sifted flour
½ cup cocoa
¼ tsp. salt
¾ cup chopped walnuts

Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Sift together flour, cocoa and salt. Add to creamed mixture, blending well. Stir in walnuts. Spread in greased 9” square baking pan. Bake in 350 oven 35 minutes or until done. Cool in pan on rack. Cut 2¾ x 1¾ inch bars.
Makes 15.
