1 big (6 oz.) box lime jell-o
2 cups water (or part pineapple juice)
8 to 10 marshmallows (broken in pieces)
1 small can (13 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 small apple, chopped
¼ cup chopped nuts (can be pecans)
½ cup cottage cheese
½ cup whipped cream
Dissolve marshmallows with jell-o. (They might not dissolve completely.) When cool, place in refrigerator until slightly thickened, then add pineapple, apples, nuts and cottage cheese. Mix well. Last, fold in whipped cream and chill until firm.
